The Heaney Business Group is looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial advice and support to the organisation, as well as managing the day-to-day accounting operations.The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and will be highly organised, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. They will be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Key responsibilities include:
-Developing and maintaining financial systems and procedures
-Preparing financial statements and management reports
-Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
-Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
-Liaising with external auditors and other stakeholders
-Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
-Providing financial advice and support to the organisation
-Identifying areas of improvement and implementing changes
